ok so I'm no expert at HTML, so this coding is driving me nuts. I'm teaching myself as I go along. so as you can see, its nothing fancy already.
But if anyone decided to look at the code, you would know that it is an a complete mess. Chances are that your browser is downloading more than you need, and hence there is a need for code-optimization.
Apologises for being unable to code the comments interface right now, so just use the chatterbox for now ya? I was thinking of giving the website some downtime so I got a few days to work on it, but i decided I might as well just leave it as the old interface first.
Dont get your hopes too high though, the site would probably look the same - just maybe neater and better code optimization. Feel free to make the most of it. Cheers

Mini-Tournament?
Hey guys, I hate to be one of those all-talk-no-action character, but I would like to propose a mini-tournament for street soccer at the end of the yr. It is impossible to start planning and organizing and advertising when I'm back to make it a successful one, so I was wonder if you guys could start first.
It's just a suggest and in very raw stage right now. But I was wondering if you could invite teams to play a small tournament. It would give our Kismis guys some experience in both playing competitive and in organzing events. Not to mention make some money because we can charge teams an entry fee. It would look on a a resume as well!
We could get sponsors for our prizes - like I thought of shops in Queesway, see if the manager wants to sponsor such a competition in exchange of advertisment. Or even run to the big guns like Nike and Adidas. (I know my close friend got Nokia to sponsor one of her parties, so it isn't too far-fetched!).
We could get refs too. And as for the grounds, the Kismis Basketball courts are fine actually, we just need to rent those goals if its possible.
It's a good summary of the idea I got in my head right now, I got a rough - relatively more formal - proposal to the Kismis commitee coming up, but I wonder what you guys thought of the idea.
Also, can help me compile a mailing list! If you drop by here, please send an email to the given address at the side, below the chatterbox! Thanks for your co-operation.
Lastly, Hao wants a webpage and we were thinking of putting the players pics. He has taken some players; but it would be good if you could send your photo in - preferably in your Kismis Jersey. I'll find some webspace and put it up!
Those of photos whom i got:
1. Eric
2. Hao
3. JD
4. MS
5. Dennis
6. Erwin
Thanks guys for your co-op!

Text Size And Email
Hey guys, well done on well-planned events such as the night cycling and the upcoming pot luck dunner!
Well, just dropping a blog to say I've changed the text-size a bit. Got quite a bit of feedback on the text-size being too big so I spent a few minutes figuring out how to change the text size, without changing the number of pixels in html. But well, it looks fine on my uni computer (using it right now), but let me know how it looks on your comp! And I may adjust it accordingly.
Also, I forgot to mention that you can fully ultilise the Kismis United email kismisunited@yahoo.com.sg (new entry below the chatter box). I initially created it to use the yahoo web space for a website, but I suppose we could use it as a way to reach out to our members again. All we need now is a mailing list!
Good luck with the upcoming events guys! Hope the soccer goes well!

Nite-cycling 18-19 Mar
Had fun, had sore butts, had to sleep to 1-2pm the next day... Wah~!
Oh okie, tats sums up the nite-cycling trip...
HOLLAND VILLAGE: Time 10pm, we met up at Holland Village after a couple of setbacks... Flat tyres, loosen chains... The guys gathered for some teh, kopi, isotonic at blk 41 coffeeshop.. Had a small chit-chat n get-to-know each other section.. I arranged wif our toys for t nite, Walkie-Talkies... Hehhe~! Song bo~! Each of us were given a set for communications n yak-yak along t trip... Did sum last minute shopping at JonD n Jeremy's 'workshop' b4 we finally set off to our end point, Punggol Jetty... Set our talkie-sets to t same channels, everyone did a last minute check on their 'armored horses', i also give everyone an idea of the route we r taking...
HV - Tanglin - Orchard - Little India - Boon Keng - Bendemeer - Serangoon - Upp Serangoon - Hougang - Sengkang - Ponggol (NOT for t faint-hearted n weaklings, hehe...)
Time 11pm, we finally set off... 7 guys on their bikes, speeding n yaking towards our distination... We pass Tanglin wif ease and got stucked at Orchard becos of t Saturday nite feast... We played wif our talkies and drew crowds frm Orchard as they look at a bunch of wannabes playing radio-coms... Took us some time to squeeze thru t crowd and speed towards our first munch-point, Jackson Kopitiam...
Makan section: prawn-mee, oyster-egg, bah-chor mee, hokkien mee... Sedup~!
Time 12mid+: we journey further towards our Final Destination... Went pass so much eaterys along the way, Nasi Lemak, Midnite Curry, Serangoon Prata, Kovan Dim sum, curry-puffs, WAT T FUCK~! But we held back our saliva on chiong ahead... Haha...
Next pit-stop, Kovan Caltex Station, since we cant eat, we pass out lor... Haha, toilet break la~! Fill our water-bottles and rest our butts, adjust our clothings and check on our bikes... After tis, we dunno when we'll get to stop again...
3am: We reached punggol area, had t whole place to ourselves, Punggol leh, come on... It's dead quiet, wif only cool breeze, dim lights... And then, 7 guys making obscene noises on the Walkies~! Yamate, yamate... Ita, ita... Haiyaku, haiyaku... Sir, cannot, sir... Sir, pain pain, got blood sir... (Haha, i guess we woke some of t residents there, i m sure...)
3.15am: Had a short and last pit stop b4 we go towards our desination... 5-10mins later, we finally touch down... We took a good moment to relax and enjoy t sea view frm Punggol Jetty... Signs of relief for some and moments of worry for return journey for another... Others take t chance to rest n well, juz relax...
4.00am: We left t jetty n head towards Sengkang MacD for our breakfast... Yummy~! I guess we spent more time eating n yaking then on t road itself, did we???
4.45am: We pick up our tired legs, rubbed our sore butts and zoom towards home... Home sweet home... We speeded ahead, targetted to reach home b4 day breaks... We rided together back towards civilazation and finally parted at Sim Lim area...
5.30am: Zzz... Zzzz.... Zzzz....

Thanks Eric and JonDavid for putting effort into the club. I understand that you guys must be busy with work and other commitments, so thanks for organising everything to keep the club going.
I would like to encourage all members to support what our pals have organised and be active in their call.
I also hope that more members would drop by the blog more often and tag more often as well..

Thanks for coming down every week 2 play soccer.. at the moment, in order 2 play soccer every week.. Have Faith Guys
Fellow Kismis United Guys!
Lets stay positive, negativity can make things worst.
Apologies for I am not showing commitment to the club. Please forgive me, but in my heart, I am always committed to the club ever since I had talked to Chau. Lets improve our attitude. I might not be in a place to task things around, but for the good of the club's health.
Eric, lets be more positive.
Jon, every contribution made is for the good of this club, more or less contribution by whom we must thank them. Especially Eric and yourself.
Chau, thanks for having faith in our very own club.
I had faced some personal difficulties currently in life, but thats not important. Most important is, without Chau or me around, the team still works on its own. Regardless of who commit more or less.
Remember, be positive, no one will join a club or come for soccer if its an unhappy and negative club.
This is my words from my heart. Hope this blog will make a small contribution to the team.
Go Go Go Kismis Utd!
Haoz.
