Hiya ppl,

Happy & enjoyable last Sat. Good weather and great turn out. Enuff said... We welcomed back the return of our Regulars and also guest appearances of super uber rare members, haha... Great to see those faces again. Also have to thanks Erwin for 'borrowing' those cones for St James Powerstation... Dragonfly regulars do have privilege of removing certain items. Pro pro!!!

Lets keep up this standard for our first game of September... And I certainly hope i dnt need wait till September end to wake anyone up... Time really flies fast, we have alreadi entered the last quarter of the year le. Happy times together, sad times we shared... Juz hope things will hang on and get better~!

25 August 07: Match Day @ Kismis

Hihi...

Disappointing ah... That sums up everything for what could have been a wonderful game last Sat. The rain came and spoilt everything...

After much up n down over the past few weeks, we finally managed an exciting turn out for some of our missing players. But too bad, heaven didnt do us any favour. Down poured the rain and washed away are our hope of playing the wonderful game. We patiently waited for it to stop and it went on and on... No choice, no game.

Last hope tis coming Sat, we'll have such a favourable turnout again. It's really wonderfully to see the numbers. I cant wait to get into a good game... Fingers crossed and prayers to be answered.

There will be good attendance n good weather this Sat bah~

18 August 07: Match Day @ Kismis

Kismis~!

Hey anyone there? Is there still a Kismis United around? Why no ppl one ah?

Kismis once again plunged into a low period, with players showing no interest in coming and others simply giving off excuses. Worse still we have players who went MIA when the team need them the most. We all might be wondering where are their sense of responsibility...

Last Sat, was it a match day? Well i seen only 8 miserable chaps there. (Ya, some of u must have been very happy right) 4v4 is entertaining? None of us where expecting that to happen anyway. Well at a point of time, we are happy to have an extra/new player, Jun, to join us. But sadly he had to leave early. Very soon, it's back to 4v4. Yes, tos who are there will still be laughing and enjoying the game. But of cos, how long can this low response thingy carry on? Will these players eventually feel sian and not come too? What about the promises to come regularly or the heart-sworn to be there for Kismis, forgotten? All this questions have been heard and asked among many of us. Yes, many of us do have our own commitments and other issues to settle out there. But at the end of the day, it's still about that willingness to put in a bit more effort. Certain programs can be changed, certain appointments can be rearranged. If we have to go on like tis, having so little ppl or simply no ppl then i suggest we not carry on. I mean what for? Last time, we can easily gather 16-18 players per Sat. Now? 10 is a very difficult number. Since many players here already have their other commitment elsewhere, why not focus & do better over there. At least, i knw, i can free up my Saturday mornings from now onwards for my own programs. And for those who dunno if they even bother to read this blog anot ppl, if u aint wanna come anymore, jz do everyone and me a favour, let us know. So i dun have to even come to think of you when i have to call for more ppl.

This coming Sat, for those who wanna give further excuses, please do. Those who wanna play just come.

Whatever thing will have a beginning and an end. Every swing will come to a stop eventually. So we just hang on till this motion slowly comes to an end bah.

Hiya ppl,

Having a nice break? Well last week's break was an unexpected one... Have to take a break cause no one replied to the soccer at Singapore Poly... Surprising leh...

Well, end up with only 4 players on that day... Ben n Jackson are on for it. Fiq n Dieq replied too but i guess they will b disappointed with the turnout lor... So paisey...

Hopefully the turnout will be more presentatable tis coming Sat. So, please reply of your availability for this Sat's game asap, thank you. We are returning to Kismis for this one, King should be able to settle the courts for us.

YAHOO! Fantasy Football

Hey guys!

With the EPL starting again soon, we have our usual Fantasy League amongst our Kismis members! And this year again, we are with Yahoo! Fantasy Football because it looks really cool this year! lol.

For those who don't know, in fantasy football, you pick a team with the real players, and they score points according to how they perform in real life. It doesn't take much time at all, in fact even none! You can pick a team and leave it untouched for the whole season even! But its best if you play along with everyone else, keep up to date with the in-form players and those who are out on long term injuries.

I hope you all have fun playing again this year like all other previous years!

To join the Kismis League, you must have a Yahoo account (I think), then simply log into http://uk.premiership.fantasysports.yahoo.com/football and join the group after creating your team.

The group/league is called Kismis Invitational, group ID #9350 and password kismisftw!

Come online and play with the rest of the team! And may you have the best of luck with your team this year!
