More action clearly needs to be taken to heighten the commitment to the Kismis cause. I was surprised that you guys couldnt even form a team to take part in a soccer tourny!
I understand that alot of you have commitments in your life - in study, work, or health. But I hope things turn out better in the coming months. When the exams are over, when people recover from injury and quite a few will ORD too.
But other than the core of the players, I would like to urge the members to bring back their friends or other members who have dropped off the radar. By introducing more people to Kismis United, you can hope to find more people who are willing to come every weekend.
One more thing is that when I was back, I could get a game every Saturday. Not because others knew I would only be around for 3 months, but its the way I ask them down. I hope you guys make my friends feel welcome and invited to play with you. Because I didn't hear things like that from them.
Keep the faith guys.. and do your part.

Got a Job
Okay la.. I think I'm just being bo-liao to update this site; but let all know I got a job as a soccer coach here at a club called Monash City JSC. I'm taking the U13-C team; means those that got rejected by A and B teams. Haha, but I'm going to train them up to beat the hell out of the the so-called team of better players.
I gave up coaching the mens team I took last season because they paid shillings compared to what I get now. Now I get around Aus$50 a session (ranging from 70-90mins), and on top of that, the club pays for my furthur coaching courses easily worth $300 for the next level and $500+ the level after that! So it's quite a good deal. I'll show you guys the funky tracksuit and jacket once I get it - its the same team colours as Kismis United - only primarily black instead of red.
Also, I've given the username and pass for this weblog to Eric and Hao (with Jon having it already), hope you guys update soon. And the username and pass is open to all Kismis members. Just as any of the above people for it!
Cheers mate!

Need Publicity
ok so for this page to be effective, we need more publicity.
word of mouth is one of the most effective ways. and for me to maintain this site, we have to keep it lively, for example, tagging everytime you come by makes it something fresh for everyone to read.
I heard from Eric that JonDavid says his handphone bills are on the up thanks to contacting our guys. Well, turns out that he finally knows what I had to do every weekend: mass-smsing 15-20 people a week. And half of you don't even have the decency to reply! Ha, kidding.
But well, thats where the usefulness of this site come in. If we promise to update this regularly with our upcoming games, would you come and check on it often? Something tells me that not all the people that we contact know about this website. So guys.. please please help spread the word. Not only do I feel it is a waste that I've spent so much effort into this site, but it is also a more effective way to reach the masses and reduce the sms count!
And Jon, Eric and Hao - the people who I talk to most on msn, can please tell me what to update on the site. Either that or do it yourselves. I mean since you guys are the organizers back in Singapore. Thanx.

Suggestions
I just had a chat with JianHao over MSN. I think it was the medicine talking but he suggested we get an official kismis webpage. The idea was good... and he said he had connected to some dude who owns a server. Suggesting we maybe strike a deal with him.
He suggested we have a page with player photo n profile. its quite a cool idea, and its useless to some, but it is one step closer to building a more established club. Imagine one day we scout out this really good player without a team, and we go "join us.. check out our website" and if the website is not dodgy, he will feel he is joining a good club on the up. And im sure you all want to be part of it.
And things hotting up against our previous foes "Falcon Warriors". The striker aka Neo (and calls himself "The One") is stirring up trouble. Check out the TAGBOARD on our mutual mate Ian's blog: arugono.blogspot.com. Be smart guys, dont play with fire!

Missing Information
Ok... so the information of the competition that I missed out or have been changed.
The Kismis commitee has decided to scrape Jon's radical idea of sending in 4 teams. They now think 2 is an appropriate number. So the hunt is out for 14 players who want to play for Kismis United. All members and friends are invited! (And friends of friends etc)
The closing date of submission of names is 24th Feb (just echo-ing what Eric said) but they would like the names way before hand simply because if they send in 2 teams, they need to know who to put in which team! So quit pondering about whether to join and just send your name in to JonDavid our adminstrator.
In case you missed out, the details of the competition and contact numbers are on the previous post.
