31 March 07: Match Day @ Kismis

Haha, very gd...

Seems like things r beginnning to improve liao... We r playing 7-8 last Sat, to consider 2 weeks ago we suffered a miserable 5v5 only. And of cos, more regular players r returning to the team also... Tats gd news, keep up t gd work lads...

We managed to play cross-court last wk-end. It does really came as a shock for a few of us... To think that the sudden turn out is gd, we werent expecting that we would end up play cross-court again!!! Song boh??? Well, it does caught a few of us off guard... (So long nver play such crazy running liao) Btw, credits to King n Jackson for roping down their friends to make the number. We have 4 new guys to share the fun with us. Well r they gonna stay longer wif us anot, that depends on us showing our sincerity to hold on n keep them... (Work hard on tat!!!)

This coming Sat, i hope tat things will still turn out fine... At least a 6v6 should b on the books lor... I had not heard of any 'excuses' frm any players so far... But i also have not heard of any confirmation either!!! 3 days left to decide okie?!? Quick response to me or JonD.

I guess u guys should have read the point brought up by Jackson in the tags. Yes, playing with goalpost. Ever since our 'plans' of having goalposts at Kismis had quietly disappeared, we have been sticking to cones only. I do enjoy the idea of playing at venues with goalpost lor, what do u guys think? So far, i know of places like NUS, SP, Henderson Park, St Wilfrid, The Cage and let me introduce Telok Blangah Heights too (One of my fav place). Tis r places wif goalposts n they r not that dumb 4v4 street soccer... This r larger courts that can accomodate at least 5v5. So this sat, shall we try a new place with post???

Btw, Fiq, can u update me b4 Tues every wk about arrangements for your field team? So that i can make updates to the blog accordingly. Will Jackson & ahhao let me know abt your recruitment drive for new members. Tos replies on the tagboard r a bit confusing lor... Dunno is streets team or field team one... Thx. =)

Not bad, not bad...

Guess the response does seems better... U guys enjoyed the toughie...

Last Sat, we had the best turn-out finally, after so many weeks. 7v7 is an achievement liao. Even when some of our guys went off early, we still could afford 6v6 and 6v5. Trip down to Kismis not wasted... We kicked off at 10am, ended at ard 12.30nn... Everyone had fun bah, weather is veri nice also... Keep tis up if possible...

Okie, this wk, same issue... U guys wanna play, u update me, i wont contact u all... (Our small boi, JonD, had finally depart on his journey to become a MAN... Off we send tis little ill brat to Tekong...) Enjoy your stay in Tekong Chalet...!!! So this coming Sat, we wont have JonD n Jere ard... N also, me got work tis coming Sat also, so me also not free... But i'll still coordinate for u all, no prob...

Btw, i'll also add a Players section to the usual details section. This will inform everyone who came, who fly aeroplane, who give excuses... So at t end of the day, we'll b able to proof who is tos 'pilots' & 'spoilers' of Kismis Utd...

Well...

I'll keep it short...

Kismis players note this:

I dnt care whether u get to read tis or dnt even know Kismis Utd has a blog anot. From now onwards, there will not be anymore sms/msn/phone calls to inform you all of Saturday matches or friendlies. Every week, you guys will have to take your own initiative to contact me or JonD whether u r coming or not. (Tell me how many ppl u got) The thing will be 5v5 and above, soccer is ON. By fri nite, i dnt recieve 10 headcounts, soccer is cancelled. If YOU dnt bother to get to me, then no soccer.

So if you wanna know got soccer or not, u die-die have to ask me. And for tos selfish ppl who can only inform me on the last minute, that means you r just delaying your friends' chances of playing also.

It's time for t rest of you Kismis ppl to start to take responsibility for your own team liao!!!

10 March 07: Match Day @ Kismis + 11 March 07: Match & Field Team Selection

Hoya ppl~!

"Hello, anyone there?!?" ...Well seems like a lot of our ppl r not!

The past two weeks have been disappointing. Poor Kismis could only afford to have 5v5... Either it's ppl not coming, refusing to reply to SMS, fly aeroplane, leaving early, sick, got work, got sch, go out with gf & whatever sh3t excuses you can think of la... 5v5, we still can play one, no prob... But if things continue like tis, not too healthy lor... What if someone wanna leave early or someone last minute choot-pattern again? Become 4v5 or 4v4? Very disappointing... Last wk's game started around 10am, ended before 12.30nn... Short short game for Kismis standard... So end up got tos ppl who came late, mayb play only 1hr or less then go home liao... Song boh??? Blame ppl who r late, blame ppl who wanna leave early, blame ppl who nver turn up bah... Saturday games at Kismis no longer appealing liao is it???

Okie, for this coming wk-end a lot of thingy coming up. But who is going to response to this, i aint sure... Soccer will b as usual for Sat and there will be 2 field offers on the following Sunday. On Sunday morning, we have got another invite by my juniors for a rematch session. They r going to book the sch field at Henderson Sec. This time (If they gets the field) it will really be a 11-aside liao... Henderson Sec field is very gd, lotsa sunday leagues r played there. But now comes the problem, they need to book the sch field asap (Hot place) and they need t reply by tday or tml. If this Sunday u all cant make it, they dnt mind next Sunday. U all decide for this (I only help to liaise only). Then in the afternn, Fiq will be holding a field team selection and practice at Zhangde Pri. This section will stay causal and relax. Fiq will handle tis and organise the team bah. I dnt have much info on this, so pls ask Fiq for more enquires... (PS:I m not free on Sunday but will drop by later)

N pls reply to sms that JonD n i sent out. If possible, reply asap. One person will delay the entire team. We depend on the headcount to make a lot of decisions if u hold us up then u r juz finding trouble for us. I also dunno what else to kpkb abt liao... U all decide bah...
