Hi once again

To save all the hassle there is no need for an application form. Simply email me your team name, the full names of your team members as well as their NRIC, and we will capture it into our system for you! The application fee of $25 can be paid on the spot. You might want to include a 6th member as a reserve we well.

The tournament will be open for all between the age of 15 to 35, open age category. Each match will last 10 minutes, 5 minutes per half. Depending on the number of teams, the tournament will be conducted in group stages format, with the top 2 teams advancing to the next knock-out rounds. The format of the tournament, however, are subject to changes depending on the response received.

Specific on the court rules are as such.
- Half court rule applies (cannot score from own court)
- Striker is forbidden from entering opponent's penalty area
- Goal keeper is restricted to his own penalty area at all times (one foot of the goalie muz be inside the penalty area)
- Yellow cards and red cards will be issued out for fouls, the severeity of which will be according to the discretion of the referee
- If a player is issued a red card, he will be ejected from the court permanently for the rest of the match, and the reserve player may be called into play. If a second red card is issued to the team, the team can choose to play with 4 players, or forfeit the match
- A penalty may be awarded for fouls committed, the severeity of which will be according to the referee's discretion. Fouls of such severeity include deliberate handball while defending, or hard defensive tackles which are deemed dangerous. The way a penalty will be taken, will be that of a one-touch format.

- A substitution can only be made at half time, or at the end of the 10 minutes of regulation time (if the team wishes to sub in a player in the case that a oenalty shootout is required)
Please feel free to email me if you have any other queries. Hope to see your team down on june 1 ! Thank you.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your enthusiasm!

As part of an initiative by the youth executive committee as part of the annual major project organised by the committee, where a carnival and band gigs can be expected. The tournament format is subject to changes as much depends on the response and the number of teams who sign up, but tentatively it will be in group stages where the top 2 teams will advance to the next stage, sort of a champions league format. The tournament will start around 5pm.

nope it will not be any officials from the FAS. The whole event will be organised and manned by youths, so the referee will most probably be from the youth committee. But rest assured that have full confidence in the abilities of the referee chosen!

$600 worth of prizes (sports vouchers) are up for grabs, with the top team receiving $300, the runners-up $200 and the third placed team receiving $100.

It would be appreciated if you could spread the word and encourage more teams to take part. And do join us for a day of fun and laughter at the carnival!

Thank you once again!

Regards

I won't be joining due to work as I got day on Tuesday and Saturday I can't ask for other day off
