26 January 08: Match Day @ Singapore Poly

Hiya ppl,

Time for soccer thingy again... Nothing special coming up this weekend so it's gonna be soccer as usual at our usual place.

With Chinese New Year just around the corner, i would wanna propose a few ideas and let everyone have an idea of what's gonna happening after our CNY period bah.

Team list: After our recent months of 'recruitment and trials' with so many new players, i guess it is time we officially welcome those (New players) who are ready to be part of Kismis United onboard (Thanks Jackson for the good job). Also time to reward our long serving players like Jackson, Joshua, Alvin, etc with their jerseys le. We'll be doing a major regroup of the players as we noticed a few of them have either left Kismis or no longer have the time to commit to us already. Will need Chris to help with the updates or come up with something (Updates, etc...) for the team list or even for the website again (I only knw how to post, design part is all dependant on you le...)

Next, Venues: I guess we had been stucked at Kismis or SP Courts for too long le. Yes, it's free and it's almost ours liao but then again dont you guys want something fresh every now and then? Considering having at least one 'away game' every month. With so much new soccer facilities mushrooming out in Singapore, why dont we go check those places out? Futsal @ The Cage, Fico Sports Hub, Futsal @ ECP, Safra Tampines and even St Wilfrid. They do boost great pitches, opening hours is also flexible. We all go, share the cost and enjoy lah. Seriously consider this bah.

Events: Yes, Kismis is all about soccer but shouldnt we take a break for some other non-soccer activites too? Well how about activities like paintball sessions, gathering/outings, watching soccer matches, chill out @ pubs, dine out? I notice we Kismis ppl only gather every weekend for soccer only, other then that, no 'connections' with each other liao. This aint healthy for the team lor. I'll be planning for a paintball section somewhere in Feb and also arranging for 'home visits' to each others' house during CNY period (Gamble, collect Ang Bao, makan~)

Remarks: Balls are with Jackson. Sub-leaders please confirm your number of ppl wif me IMMEDIATELY. Un-informed ppl wont be entertained & priority is given to KISMIS UTD players at all times. Soccer game will automatically be cancelled if rain havent stop by 8am that day...
