K Guyz,
I know the game today din went smooth because of the 3 team tingy.. It's fantastic to have so many people down for soccer on this faithful saturday but I understand each and everyone's feeling about sitting outside waiting for your turn to play..The feeling s**ks, everyone knows it...We had to resort to this 3 team tingy largely because we had overwhelming response for soccer today. We were able to form 8-a-side which is enough to play a field game anytime...
Of course I'm not going to jump the wagon by saying what should be the arrangement when there's so many people around for soccer. With more players, it is definitely better than with only a pathetic 5-a-side which we used to endure in the past.
I was reluctant to stop the game just now and at the same time reluctant to let the game continue cause we have 12 players on the court enjoying themselves and all believe that the goal is coming soon. On the other hand, I have 6 players waiting outside eager to play and was getting impatient cause the pre-arranged 20min ruling was not adhered. I would not support anyone cause both had their reasons and I 'might' have reacted the same way if I'm on either end....
Anyway, I think this could be avoided if we tried to play all of the people we have got and there will be no complaints DEFINITELY....I'm actually supportive of Eric's idea of doing a cross court when we have this many players but it would only be possible if the cones bearer is down so that the play will be more thrilling then just placing a pair of sandals @ both ends as Goal Post rite?!
To end it all, I would like to seek everyone's cooperation to stay cool about all this k, the play was great today where we see good passes & goals...At the end of the day, we just want to enjoy the game.....We just want to play Soccer....Rite... :)
Cya next Sat!!!!
J@CKY.....
P.S.: The ball that was shot into the fencing where that generator was has been collected by me and kept in my car booth for the next game pl.

20 January 07: Match Day
Hey hey ppl~!
Time for Kismis updates again. I'm keeping this post short, aint got much to report anyway...
After missing out on a proper game last Sat, we are going back to Kismis tis wk-end. Heard t turn-out for last wk-end's game is terrible... Gosh~ What happened? Well anyway, it wont repeat itself again tis Sat @ Kismis...
One outstanding issue will be the field match on 27 Jan or 3 Feb... JonD is desperately begging to have the game on 3 Feb, reason is fuking obvious... (Tat Ass0's bday is on tat day lor) But get tis, we dnt give a damn, we aint gonna let u score a single sh!t goal anyway... So gimme which exact date u guys want it, gimme t money to book t field too... It's only 2-3wks from that date, Tanglin Field is hotcakes lor, so u guys better confirm it soon so tat i can go book t place... But t confirm news is tat we wont be able to get our fav pitch. It's booked all t way till March... So we settling for one of tos pitches further in...

13 January 07: Match Day + Issues
Hey guys,
Chau here. I just got a call regarding this Saturdays soccer that the courts at Kismis will be booked. So I thought it would a good opportunity to go to other public courts and challenge other teams. Who knows we might find a good player who wants to play with us, or a rival team that can challenge us on a regular basis? But those are minor details.
I'm looking for suggestions for public courts we can play at. I'm very much hoping to add to the list because I got so few suggestions. Well, feel free to tag to make a suggestion or vote for a location.
The courts suggested so far are:
Tiong Bahru - Henderson Park
Pros: Very large nice court in a cage with a excellent goalpost
Cons: Heard from sources it may be crowded and might have to wait a long time to play
Telok Blangah - oppo Harbourfront
Pros: Large court in cage with goalposts
Cons: Out of the way
Unknown: if its still there (I last played there 2 years ago) and if it will be crowded or not.
Clementi - 2 courts - near Police Station or Mosque
Pros: 2 courts make it usually less crowded, and the court has walls
Cons: The courts might be a bit small and its the low goalposts for both
Jurong - near IMM
*details unknown*
Boonlay
*details unknown*
CCK
Pros: Empty
Cons: Empty
Note: we can arrange a friendly with another team at this location.
ALSO, field soccer match amongst the Kismis members and friends. I figured if we can get 20+ on a normal day, then 24-28 on a field day shouldn't be impossible. From what I heard the tanglin fields are only available on the 27th Jan 07. So put your name in (and call your friends) if you can make it alright?
LASTLY, the poll has told me that it's frustrating to hit the bench to score when we play the wider version in Kismis. So Jon, Ian and I took the liberty of going to check out portable goalposts from various stores. We found one that would arrive in 2 weeks a 1.5m, 3.5m wide (but there are other sizes) portable goalposts - meaning it can be dismantled and reassembled on match days. The thing is that it would set us back about S$330 for a pair of them. I was guranteed it would be high quality metal and almost professional looking and from what I was told am convinced its worth it. So do the Kismis players want to share the cost of it? Let me know after you've thought about it. Thanks
But the stinging issue remains the where are we going to play this Sat - so reply on that one asap!

6 January 07: Match Day
Happy holidays ppl~!
Welcome to the Kismis parade.
Haha, okie okie... T amount of ppl flowing into Kismis for our last game of 2006 made it seems like a football parade. Although it aint t best we had achieved, it's still something remarkable. Only thingy is that we still couldnt achieve a perfect attendance for all Kismis Utd players yet. So not to say, we didnt manage to take our team photo again...
Tis coming Sat will be open season. Our first game and kick-off for 2007. Who will score the first goal? Who will score the first own-goal? Let's wait n see... Again, we'll try n attempt to take our team photo again. Hopefully tis wk's turnout will b gd, we missing too much Kismis Utd players liao...
Happy 2007 and happy Kismis-ing~!
